Hey there fellow psychopath's and screw-ups, and welcome to TRISTESSE! We are an intermediate to advanced roleplay site based in an asylum for the mentally disturbed and we allow supernatural creatures to roam here! There are all kinds of people here, some who stay year round, some who are only here for a short time, and what others call "lifers". There are teachers trained for these kinds of things, and really freaking annoying psychologists that think they know everything about you. There's drama, there's betrayal, there's love, and there can even be blood here at Tristesse Asylum. So if you're up for joining some serious hellfire like this, go read up on the rules, the plot, and get going on your application!
Tristesse Asylum is located smack dab in the middle of an abandoned island and get this..it's in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle! What does that mean folks? It's humid, it's hot, it's crowded, and you can almost always count on people with ridiculous accents. So be careful, and don't let the security at Tristesse catch you out and about without supervision!

HUMANS

Humans are the mortals of the world and here at the asylum they are the prey for the many supernatural creatures here. They are not very strong compared to a vampire, demon, witch, or werewolf..they're actually fairly weak against them. They are often tormented by vampire and werewolves alike and don't have many ways to defend themselves against the supernatural. They live a short life, but among them they consider 100 years a long life. Some can defend themselves against the supernatural and many cannot. They rely on their intelligence and use of weapons to defend themselves against the many creatures in the world. They still believe they are the best species, though many may disagree.
